About
The Pasquino Arts Center transforms one of Rome’s iconic cultural landmarks. After more than seventy years as an original-language cinema, it becomes a contemporary hub where tradition meets innovation, and cinema is part of a broader artistic dialogue.

Our Mission
Our mission is to bring cinema, art, music, and immersive experiences together as one living cultural ecosystem. Rooted in Trastevere, Pasquino is a place of exchange and encounter.
Open to all — locals and travelers alike — most events are free, because culture should have no barriers. By day, a space for ideas; by night, a celebration of live music, cinema, cuisine, and wine. Everything is designed as one unified experience — from screen to sound, from plate to glass.
An International Vision
Where the world’s voices were heard without filter — a legacy that still defines us. At Pasquino Art Center, we present culture in its purest form: original language, with subtitles and soon real-time translation for talks and conferences. International by design, we are a meeting point for Rome’s global community — where local and international voices connect. Once Rome’s window to the world, Pasquino is now the world’s window into Rome.

The Place You Wish You Had
The Pasquino exists, first and foremost, for Rome — restoring what the city lost: a daily cultural presence where residents feel at home, and culture is lived without pretense.
A true “cultural survival capsule,” it resists the forces that empty neighborhoods. Morning and afternoon events are free and open to all. This is not a place you visit once, but one you return to.
Pasquino Art Center is the place we all wish we had just downstairs.
Rooted in Rome. Connected to the world.
