Intrecciato in ogni scena, il calore della tromba, il mormorio del contrabbasso, il sussurro del rullante spazzolato ridanno vita a immagini che hanno illuminato gli schermi oltre un secolo fa. La musica non accompagna semplicemente questi film — li abita, scivolando tra i fotogrammi come fumo in un locale soffuso, lenta e perfettamente a suo agio.
