26 maggio 2026 – I martedì ANAC | ore 17.00. | “Nuovo Cinema Buie” del regista Alessio Bozzer, che parteciperà alla proiezione per raccontare la genesi del suo lavoro. Nel 1950 Buie d’Istria è una “terra di nessuno”, un luogo di dolorose fratture. In quell’anno viene aperto nel paese un nuovo cinema. Nei decenni che seguiranno diverrà il principale luogo di ritrovo per italiani e jugoslavi, e rappresenterà il simbolo di una possibile rinascita, di un futuro migliore. L’opera richiama il valore delle sale storiche e il ruolo di chi si batte per aprirle o evitarne la chiusura, così come è accaduto nel caso del Cinema Pasquino che accoglie i “Martedì dell’ANAC”.

May 26, 2026 – ANAC Tuesdays | 5:00 PM | Nuovo Cinema Buie by Alessio Bozzer, who will attend the screening to discuss the origins and development of the film.

In 1950, Buie was a “no man’s land,” marked by painful divisions and historical fractures. That same year, a new cinema opened in the town. Over the decades, it became the main gathering place for both Italians and Yugoslavs, emerging as a symbol of possible rebirth and hope for a better future.

The film reflects on the importance of historic movie theaters and on the people who fight to keep them alive and prevent their closure, much like the story of the Cinema Pasquino, home to the “ANAC Tuesdays” series.
