Nel 1950 Buie d’Istria è una “terra di nessuno”\, un luogo di dolorose fratture. In quell’anno viene aperto nel paese un nuovo cinema. Nei decenni che seguiranno diverrà il principale luogo di ritrovo per italiani e jugoslavi\, e rappresenterà il simbolo di una possibile rinascita\, di un futuro migliore.
